Full-time artist and designer. Art supplies addict. anime lover, manga devourer. geek, gamer, otaku. Stick shift driver, coffee shop doodler, tree climber, hike runner, plein air painter. A bit about me:
I'm a fulltime artist and designer living in Toronto Canada. My primary medium is watercolor. I love it's fluidity, unpredictability, chaotic harmony and freedom. I relate to it the most as it reminds me a lot of myself. I also work with oils, acrylics, gold leaf and pastel.
Originally from picturesque Kiev, Ukraine, I studied traditional arts from early years and moved to Canada when I just turned sixteen. Throughout my life I’ve been fortunate to always be surrounded by great creative minds who sparked my interest and scattered it in multiple directions. With years, many of these creative sparks became the rhinestones on the tapestry of my creative work and life.
My style is an eclectic mix of Europe meeting East as I am constantly inspired by my longing for old streets of Europe and love of Japan.
From bold colors to pastels, broad strokes and runy washes to fine detail. Florals to city escapes, still life to manga illustration and fantasy to abstract, – I love and paint it all, and in-between, while literally waiting for the paint dry, I work with gem stones, leather, metals, wood and clay.
